Original ideas statement

I’m going to make an indie magazine which include music that is indie, rock/pop punk or alternative like the magazines NME, Q and SPIN. My magazine will in include music gossip and interviews it will also include up and coming/new bands. My magazine will also include film reviews that I think my target audience will like and be interacted in watching. This will interest more people to read my magazine as it will include over components then just music. As my magazine is a music magazine I will include a gig guide as I believe my audience will find a gig guide very helpful and will make my magazine more appealing. My target audience is 15-25 both females and males as most of the bands I include in my magazine will be quite new and young bands but my magazine will also include very well know alternative bands. From the films and gigs I promote in my magazine will also be based on my target audience and there hobbies, styles and music taste. I have chosen to do this type of magazine as I like the music I am promoting in my magazine and in my research I found indie magazines the most aesthetically pleasing and most interesting to read.
